Hey peeps!, how does AP warranty from BBS distro works ah?... i heard its 18mths warranty, how abt its LCD screen?..

Thx in advanced for those who replied wink.gif

Cheers biggrin.gif

usually, if company gives 18 months warranty, they provide at least 6 month warranty for LCD screen. but it seems in a market mostly they offered 18month warranty with 12 month warranty of LCD. u can always query those respective company. wink.gif

I see.. 6mths warranty, thats cool, for an AP distro.

Im asking coz i juz noticed my K810i's LCD screen kana "dead-pixels" liaoz.. cry.gif ...and tis its the first time buying an AP set sweat.gif ..so kinda worried tongue.gif

And im asking here coz u know lar.. some shops says "warranty differently".. if u understand what i meant... tongue.gif

Anywayz, i juz asked the shop i bought from, they said its "3mths warranty" for LCD screen nia wor... but the handset its 18mths warranty.

Do anyone have BBS distro contact no. ?... or anyone here knows how long does BBS distro warranty for LCD screen?..

Cheers smile.gif

How can it void your warranty since it's an update coming from SE itself.

You need to buy a GPS enabler called HGE-100 to pair with K810i.

Updating firmware thru SEUS won't void the warranty.
To know whether there is an update available, just plug in your phone and follow SEUS instruction.

If the set is local set then should be chinese read & writable. If from UK then u have to format it to local firmware.

@ bold : If should be flash instead of format.
Anyway, even UK set like Vodafone, as long as the set has been flashed to APAC region firmware or firmware that has Chinese Reading enable function in it, it should able to read and write the chinese characters.
