hi guys, my monitor benq xl2411z can achieve 144hz using dvi cable only. sadly it does not have a display port. i bought a hdmi 2.0 thinking i can achieve 144hz because my current gpu zotac 2070 super does not have dvi port. once plugged in the hdmi 2.0, still can't achieve 144hz. any reason why? am i missing something?

xl2411z only can achieve 60hz on hdmi only. you have to change a new monitor in order cater your new graphic card. I am a xl2411z owner also. But i am holding my horse 1st for graphic card upgrade.

hey man, thanks for replying. i made some research that we are able to achieve 144hz by using converter DVI to HDMI

since our monitor is only on 1080p. let me buy the converter and test it out. will update here if possible to get 144hz!
