I was thinking of buying a cheaper Merz model car that can convert to a cla45 2019 model, does anyone know which model supports the latest cla45 bodykit?

You would need to get the CLA 200 i guess .

You can try and google Utmost Downforce and ask Kurt .

He should be able to give you the answer, so far, he is one of the best when it comes to Mercedes / Bmw conversion.

if follow the latest model, the previous cla , cannot convert to latest model since the whole car body is different - from ctbrothers which means I have no option but to wait for the recon

To convert model C117 to C118? 2019 CLA still C117 in Malaysia.

I don’t think lower end CLA model is available in Malaysia beside newly launched CLA45s (C118)

i can't afford to buy this car it's too damn expensive. so i am looking for older models or other models that can convert into this bodykit

Not possible, totally different body design already.
How much is your budget actually to buy a CLA??

350k + is ok, i prefer the new cla45 design , the way i see it, either wait for recon, or be an unhappy driver driving a old cla45 facelift.

no la..if got ppl really do also it will turn to be fugly. need ready-made parts. but i guess it's gonna take 1 year

I can guarantee you driving the older 2017-2018 CLA45 will put a much bigger smile on your face than the new what ever low level CLA! Just test drive one first before making such harsh conclusion.

What's the difference between the new cla45 and the old cla45 besides the looks?

Different car already so different engine, transmission, suspension, etc2. The new one called the 45S has 421hp/500nm with 8sp transmission while the 2017 45 has 380hp/475nm with 7sp transmission.
