Guys, is it worth to upgrade from razer blackwidow to huntsman?
I have been using blackwidow for 4 years now and thought of changing to huntsman elite. Looks cool.

i dont understand with the mechanical key switches; cherry, gateron etc

watched the youtube once and its more related to the clicking sound difference. any other advantages with mechanical key switches apart from sound alone?

first-person experience should help, especially with a tuned build. commercial boards usually just tell a small part of story, except for some good ones.

a good (or bad) typing experience is from the result of the combination of switches and other equally important parts in a mechanical keyboard.
wow they really took a while.

i'm not familiar with tactile switches. there are tactile switch users in mymkb that can share better insights about parts.

Meaning to say, they are for "feel good typing" experience?

yes for one reason in many other reason of having a mkb.

as for me, i have a mkb bcoz how it feels better than a membrane.
and also it "reacts" better in a sense u dont have to bottom out every keystroke to register a keystroke. this reason helps u both in typing and gaming.
the beauty of mkb is u can fine tune the feels of typing the way u like it. the more u fine tune it, the better it gets.

to me, yes, to the point that they make me like typing on them more.

the best part of mkb modding is customization, from a vast selection of parts and modifications.

that's one of the main reasons i build custom keyboards based on different parts and keyboard constructions. they all have different feels and sound, all made based on my own preferences.

thanks all.
i have been using razer blackwidow for 4 years. switched over from cynosa because i wanna get the feel good using mkb.

however, i only got to know about different mechanical switch types last year when tecware keyboard got popular. apparently the mechanical keys can be customized too.

i didnt really explore them in details but i have interest in them.

will look into the youtube video for inspiration.

Hi everyone, I have a budget of about RM200 and I am looking to get a mechanical that can swap between wired/wireless mode like the Anne Pro 2.

Actually considered the Anne Pro 2 but it is out of my budget and this is rather urgent for me.

Any suggestions?
