My small collection of mechanical keyboards
This is my Logitech G610 Cherry MX Brown keyboard, used on my gaming rig. Mostly for FPS games.
This is my Logitech G610 Cherry MX Brown keyboard, used on my desktop in the office, even with the Cherry MX brown keys, it annoys the hell out of my colleagues
This is my Keychron K1 with Gateron slim profile Red switches. Used for my Macs and portable for me to bring about.

QUOTE(thankyou @ Jan 14 2022, 06:55 PM) Finally received my Q1 Knob version today. Bought along a set of Christmas keycap but I guess it's too late to celebrate Christmas with that keycap. Overall as a novice user, I'm surprised by the Q1 quality and oh my, this keyboard is really heavy compared to my very first Mech Keyboard One2SF. From a full size keyboard to 65% keyboard, I'm definitely missing some dedicated keys such as F ~ and Insert... So maybe 75% is a balance between full size and 65%. Switching from Brown -> Red switch and will see how it goes. I wish Keychron include dust cover to protect the keyboard from dusty environment... Do you want to trade the browns with the red? I just swapped out my reds from my Q1.

QUOTE(thankyou @ Jan 16 2022, 05:35 PM) Actually the brown switches is on One2SF. I'm moving from One2SF (Brown) -> Q1 (Red). Red feels softer but smooth and quiet which is good typing at night... Got it, thought that if you were already buying them, then I thought why not a trade. Cool and have fun. I am still learning about all these mechanical keyboard stuff as well haha.

QUOTE(thankyou @ Jan 16 2022, 07:01 PM) What switch are you upgrading to? I haven't decided to open up to have a look... Will wait for YTbers review before I decided what to do with it... Out of the box I have no complain over the build quality but definitely looking forward to try other setup! Questions - how do you guys store the switches and keycaps / accessories? I saw someone mentioned Glorious Pandas either on FB or on Reddit (can't remember where) and then I just clicked and bought them. So now typing with the Glorious Pandas but I feel like I want to go get it lubed.

QUOTE(cruzzmz @ Jan 16 2022, 11:10 PM) better lubbed them .. i have used panda before ... but now im more towards a frankenswitch hahaha any thought on the new Q2?? anyone?? Yeah that is my next step but have been procrastinating it. I like the smaller footprint of the Q2 in terms of looks but as a Mac/Windows user (my Q1 now is connected to both my Mac and PC via a USB switcher) I find that I need the function keys whenever I am using my Mac especially when it comes to the shortcuts.

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Jan 24 2022, 09:04 AM) Morning all, wanna ask the Bluetooth wireless mechanical keyboard....Does it have any delay? Like Royal Kludge or Keychron. For an example, does it switch off/go to sleep and then when i click only it wakes up and connect back to the bluetooth? So there will be like a few seconds delay? I heard that Royal Kludge 2.4G connection is bad and cannot be far away from each other. Is it true? I don't want wired keyboard cause my PC is placed on a different table than my screen. When I used the Keychron with both my Mac and PC (using a bluetooth dongle) via bluetooth there wasn't any lag when in operation. But when it comes to operation from sleep mode, yes, I experienced it with the Mac once in a while. I got used to it already.
