QUOTE(taf89 @ Dec 4 2020, 03:23 PM) can`t decide between GMK Yuri or GMK Serika 2. both are nice but my wallet only can afford 1 set any input from my fellow friends here? thanks Between the 2 I'd go for Serika. Same I can only afford 1 set. If I hadn't already joined a GB, right now I would probably go for KAM Superuser coming up in Feb or GMK Lazurite.

Does anyone know where can I test a Leopold in KL/Selangor? Went to a few stores recently, but all Logitech, Razer and Corsair. Even HyperX also in box, no display unit.

Want to try first rather than order blindly like last time. right. if you have tried units from logitech, razer, and corsair, i think you will tell the differences immediately. alternatively, you should try out varmilo or filco also, if you can find one on display. however, i think leopold has more values than varmilo the last time i checked. (leopold's pd edition have the thick 1.5mm double-shot pbt)

(leopold's pd edition have the thick 1.5mm double-shot pbt) After try all the Logitech/Razer/Corsair, I can see why Filco is(or was) revered among the mkb community. Surprisingly the majority of the gaming kb on display are using blue switches, so it was easier to compare with my blue switch filco. I've heard good things about Varmilo, but I'm looking for the 1800 layout, which only Leopold has as far as Im aware.

QUOTE(horns @ Dec 4 2020, 08:17 PM) right; to each their own Actually I still not get use to this Logitech mechanical keyboard. I think it is too slim, even though nicer look but I find my previous Corsair is much nicer to use. Another reason probably due to I change the switch. I want something lower sound, so I pick GL Tactile this time. Previously was Cherry MX Speed for Corsair RGB K70, Logitech closer to this should be GL Clicky but I didn't pick this.

a small update about switch film vendors. 1. tx, https://txkeyboard.com/ (2 types of thickness, the usual 0.15mm and the new 0.125mm) 2. kebo, https://kebo.store/products/switch-films3. deskey, https://deskeys.io/4. thicc, https://maartenwut.com/product/thicc-films/5. kelowna, https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=620073366941 (2 types; thickness: its double-layer HTV film is 0.15mm; the MDI film is 0.3mm, similar to deskey's, but relatively cheaper) 6. kbdfans, https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=627414114157 (2 types; thickness: 0.15mm) 7. durock, https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=633069338401 (double-layer HTV film is 0.15mm; similar to kelowna's) the cheapest is still from kelowna, and they are really not bad. in general, PC films are hard, hence producing crispier sound; HTV is slightly softer than PC; and finally, MDI films are the softest, hence producing dampened sound.

But the arrow and num keys are joined together with the rest of the keys. I wonder how's the typing experience like. Archiss is another option, but im not sure worth the price to bring in from japan or not. Not many reviews and info. This post has been edited by danny_sp15: Dec 5 2020, 12:32 AM

Canonkeys posted a sneak peek of a new F-Rowless 1800 called the Balance: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/823795777My wallet hurts just looking at it
Oh and just FYI but the Epomaker there is a 96% which is a distinctly different layout from the 1800 you are looking for.
