Hi Admins/ staff

I think having likes is a great idea but can we have optional visibility please? On mobile version, it simply makes posts unnecessary longer by a couple of lines. Or perhaps a small like counter next to the reply button (where the current like button already sits)?

Also, to avoid abuse of this function, would it be possible for each OP to have likes either switched on/ off when creating threads?

Agree and maybe an option to hide it like poster's signature.

Agree. Make it smaller.
1) Too distracting.
2) Take so much real estate on mobile mode/phone.

When reading a post, my eyes will inadvertently move towards the Likes bar, perhaps due to the placement and colour contrast. Abit discomfort to be honest. Hope can take this into consideration.

The feature is still in early beta and will be tweaked in the next few days. Please keep your suggestions coming.

If referring to Discourse forum software, the number of Likes is shown beside the Love icon. The Love icon can then be expanded or collapsed to show or hide the member's name or avatar below the Love icon.

Just wondering if possible to keep it as a simple like counter instead of the entire sentence? That would easily fit in the bar under each post, where the current like button is fitted (next to quote & reply)

Thanks for the forum "Like" -button feature.

As I observed, it shows the member name who liked the post in desktop edition, but only show the count of likes in mobile edition--- which is fine to me.

I wonder if notification of "Like" is possible, with the frequency of notification configurable, or can also be disabled.

I use Discourse forum software as an example, AFAIK it has three options:

1. Show the "Like" notification for a particular post only for once (daily)
2. Show the "Like" notification as it happens
3. Never show the "Like" notification ----- I admit that sometimes this is the best option
