How long till my number deactivate?

I am a total noob when it comes to prepaid. I've been using postpaid Maxis all my life.
So i bought hotlink sims to register shopee accounts. The shopkeeper helped me activated the sims on Monday. Wanna ask for how long should i topup once to avoid my number getting recycled by maxis? And is minimum topup sufficient? I can topup through the hotlink app am i right? |

Minimum RM5 or RM10 every 60 days. Through app.
