QUOTE(kratosgrab @ Jun 11 2020, 12:45 PM) I was from digi prepaid. Eversince HUP35 introduced, i just mnp to hotlink. Now using it...FB, youtube, browsing, download, watching movie all reasonable ok. I think i will stick with HUP atm until digi come out with new unlimited plan. Then i might migrate back to digi... Let's wait together-gether... I admire DiGi's on-site customer support... the rest are to my expectations ...

QUOTE(kratosgrab @ Jun 12 2020, 09:23 AM) Pls enlighten us how good or how fast is cup35 as compared to HUP35. I like cup idea of having hotspot...hehe CUP35 is not as fast (both DL & UL) as HUP35 : | HUP35 Malaysia Server | CUP35 Malaysia Server |
|
|
| HUP35 Las Vegas Server | CUP35 Las Vegas Server |
|
|
| HUP35 London Server | CUP35 London Server |
|
|
But Plus, in terms of "stability" to maintain to above speeds "all the time" no matter where we are, HUP35 is slightly better than CUP35... This post has been edited by azhar75: Jun 12 2020, 10:44 AM

QUOTE(JuneResources @ Jun 12 2020, 10:29 AM) Normally previously complaint won't be care you... ONLY this one with feedback form plus "You are going to lari to others".. Sure they want to tarik you offer this offer that.. I was hoping UM to call me to counter offer just like DiGi "Customers Retain Program"... Unfortunately, they are willing to let me go wholeheartedly... kudos to UM for not "locking" the Subscribers.... unlike the Red/Green Team with their "cooling period" agenda... I hope UM will search back their archives of "monthly" reports that I've made since SEPTEMBER 2019... They should understand why I finally MNP-o...

QUOTE(MNet @ Jun 12 2020, 10:43 AM) How about hotlink? Can get free sim card if MNP ? Maybe kratosgrab can answer that Q based on his experience at Maxis Centre.. Me just directly bought the RED Starter Pack on Day 1 of launching.

QUOTE(JuneResources @ Jun 12 2020, 11:03 AM) ... But let say previously you got report to mcmc before, I think very less chance they will call and offer you.. Coz already listed as "bad customer"... .... I've opened 3 MCMC cases for Maxis; 1 for DiGi; 1 for Celcom; 1 for YES... So, yeah... can "trade" me as "Bad" Customers having extremely "bad" experience(s)... Using my rights as Consumer as always... Having said that, DiGi did call me to counter offer when I was to MNP-o...but the package is not as attractive as I was expecting...

For me it's the CONSUMERS that has to be blamed... We "MUST" read their TnCs before commit... If they really "cheated", go for legal actions as CONSUMERS' rights...
The Telco is doing their stunts to attract CONSUMERS... we as the CONSUMERS have to be cautious ...
Of course "rakyat" don't have time to read the TnC... so, back to square one.. CONSUMERS is to be blamed...

If it's useless to read and understand the TnCs, then, might as well all telcos don't publish the TnC in the first place...
As for Hotlink case, they really made the mistake and redeemed it by updating the TnC accordingly. I can open legal case against them but they moved quickly. Kudos for that action... So, we should be aware that any TnCs in this planet is deemed to be changed; with or without notice... Now that Hotlink has opened a new chapter in "Unlimited" terms, all telcos MUST publish their FUP data Limit/Cap... So, tell a tale for everyone... Now that my main number is under CUP35 (very vague TnCs indeed), I will monitor the claims and take legal action(s) if complaints are not entertained...
We should see Hotlink will keep on updating their TnCs from time to time to monitor the situations ... the same goes for other telcos...
Conclusion: Rules are made to be broken...read, understand and take action(s) if necessary...

It says Unlimited "Internet" ... not Unlimited "Data per month"... so, from my POV, there's nothing wrong with that "tactics"... I'm awaiting for other telco(s) to use tactics "Truly Unlimited DL/UL Data PER MONTH"... who dare to do this...? So far as per TnC inside CUP35, it is unlimited DATA per month becoz it is the Subscribers who "set" the DATA per MONTH.. very vague indeed... well, we can monitor our daily/monthly HEAVIEST usages and see whether they really above the volume allocation as mentioned in their TnC: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Conclusion: HUP35 = 50GB @ 3Mbps CUP35 = varies @ varies speed (very-very-very vague and hiding behind their infamous " best effort basis" This post has been edited by azhar75: Jun 12 2020, 01:30 PM

Hotlink, please update again the FUP Limit to 972GB data per month for 3Mbps. Same goes for other telcos promoting Unlimited "Internet" passes/plans/packages/promos...
Others may open legal case if agree with the above "suggestion". This post has been edited by azhar75: Jun 12 2020, 01:52 PM

Only if activate CUP35. Once CUP35 expired, all careline numbers are chargeable. HUP35 even if expired, careline123 is free all the time.
As of today, I have not activated the CUP35 and rely on 5 days starter pack freebies first.

CUP35 minimum in-app reload = RM5
Pre-Conclusion : Must Topup RM30 + RM5 separately. Validity still 30 days. HUP35 minimum in-app reload = RM10 (Except reload tickets)
Pre-Conclusion : With HotlinkMu Offers, can just topup RM30 and get RM5 free credit. Validity is 30 days. HUP35 is better. Conclusion : CUP35 nett monthly commitment = RM30 + RM5 = RM35. HUP35 nett monthly commitment = RM30 only. This post has been edited by azhar75: Jun 12 2020, 04:17 PM
