QUOTE(azhar75 @ Aug 21 2020, 11:01 AM) Just a heads up, please be careful when replying to the MNP SMS sent by the current telco. The replying text is very tricky and the MNP may be rejected if we did not reply properly. Example below: Do U think me's reply is correct or wrong....? Desperate moves by telco to maintain customer... MCMC is on my radar now... i think u should key in your phone no.

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Aug 21 2020, 01:26 PM) FYI...Yup... me obviously have to filter me number in the screenshot... Conclusion: Don't be surprised one day the SMS reply to be " PortOut YES +¥€=¥×¥&$€¥×€=£&$&#%!&#₩×£€=&$ 01XxXxXxXx" ... LOL... MCMC needs to monitor this activity and penalise those cunning telcos....LOL... port out to which telco? what's the current best prepaid plan out there for value. calls and internet.

QUOTE(Chrono-Trigger @ Aug 21 2020, 02:12 PM) Digi works well for me. A fair balance between quality and value. They have a cheap unlimited calls plan at RM28, comes with 4GB of data. Yeah. I was using that as well previously. Good balance.

QUOTE(Theoutspokenguy @ Sep 1 2020, 06:28 PM) I tested celcom ,umobile and Hotlink 45. I can say hotlink is the best QUOTE(azhar75 @ Sep 1 2020, 08:34 PM) What is the number one usage/purpose of the tablet? Gaming? Media consumption/streaming? Virtual meeting? ...? If Gaming and Virtual Meeting, HUP35/45 suits best... for others, any plans will do... thanks for the feedback. seems worth it if can get consisten 6mbps. now need to check the area.

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Sep 6 2020, 12:57 PM) No contract. If not happy, after 30 days, find something else: got no free voice calls right? if the area got 4g then definitely the best plan for rm35. worth it.

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Sep 7 2020, 04:45 AM) Get Yoodo for 2000 minutes @ RM20/month for calls. Both together using dual SIM phone (iPhone...?) at RM55/month with unlimited hotspot... The #BEBAS is for ppl wanting static connection like home or office. If moving around & about, very high risk not having Band 5/38/40 LTE spectrum. But since there is no contract, try 1st lorhhh... i think best for tablet if plan is good. syiok layan youtube like this... will check area and give it a shot as well. thanks for the feedback.

QUOTE(tai_digidestany @ Sep 20 2020, 03:58 PM) For me; here's the best so far combination to me; since Kuching have Unifi 4G LTE Coverage; Device : Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G Sim 1 : Unifi Prepaid Bebas (for hotspot) ; RM35/month with 8Mbps speed cap eSim : Yoodo (Call (2000 minutes) + SMS (50 sms) ; RM15/month Total : RM50. That; is quite a deal. this unifi bebas. let's say area got only 3g. will u still able to suft the internet ? or terus cut-off.

QUOTE(tai_digidestany @ Sep 21 2020, 02:37 PM) Still have data 3G but limited (i don't know the allocation quota) and cannot hotspot. That's why luckily you have Yoodo too to subscribe RM20GB for RM20 for temporary solution. yoodo and bebas seems attractive for tablet usage.
