This is not just a case of animal welfare. It's also concerning human food and safety. How can a hypermarket which sells food and fresh produce even sell (badly taken care of) pets? They don't allow people to bring pets into the hypermarket for fear of contamination yet they sell pets within their premises? Makes no sense right? Hypocrisy. I hate it whenever I see animals being treated like that. Guinea pigs are not even supposed to be housed in wire-bottomed cages. I support the complaint to newspapers Anway, in Pets Wonderland 1U and MV I see gerbils who have babies/just gave birth being housed with other gerbils... I pointed this out to the salespeople and they ignored me -.-
