hello...does anyone know where i can get a pci-e 8 pin converter...im using asus hd2900xt with cooler master 850 watt pro with both 6pin power cable on the card...i need the 8 pin to unlock overdrive....can anyone help???

The 2 pins are for grounding.
I've read some article that says that using a metal object to connect 'em = 8 pin overdrive functionality. (Do NOT try this with something unshielded!) |

First off, it's the PSU that comes with the pins.
I'm not sure if your 850W is modular, but usually modular has 8 pins. |
