Not enough space for backup to icloud as they only give few GB free storage. So have been doing back up to PC.
May be better to also subscribe to icloud so can backup to icloud and have 2 sets of backup. So if PC crash, can retrieve backup from icloud. If Apple crash and close down in future, can retrieve backup from PC. What do you think?

Many Malaysians are very accustomed to getting things for free/cheap ie. pirate softwares etc. So, the thought of having to pay a subscription for storage is alien to them. Even for companies as well/ But cloud storage demand is on the increase as awareness grows and as it gets cheaper.

Eventually, but for now, I'll store on my external storage. The only stuff that syncs with my cloud is my contacts and calendar/notes/reminders which doesn't use up much space.

Coming from android, i keep most of my files in Google Drive. Even for right now i use Google Photos to backup photos on my iphone. Not sure if i should just move on to icloud. It seems that i use Google Drive more.
