repairing my 'L' buttons, RM80 to change new buttons! ridiculous!!

recently my ds lite 'L' buttons can't be used anymore after went back from hiking. must because got cramped in the bag.i asked a shop in Jusco Bkt Raja how much to repair.he said if can be fixed, around rm20-30 but if have to change new,rm80. is this price reasonable?? plss..Djinn help me..

haha..yesterday when playing transformers accidentally pushing the 'L' buttons and it WORK!! yipee!!
