Be wary of the i9
I'm using one myself and the thermal throttling is so bad.

The only time I don’t have thermal issues is when I use the device on its own

As soon as you plug in those beautiful 5K Ultrafine displays and start with a nice demand from it. That’s it. It’s stuck at 800mhz
