Hi evelibody,

Is it okay to enter stock market right? im just open my cds acc with UOB last 2 weeks and estimated to be completed around next week.

I am very interested with stock market but at the same time feel worry & nervous due to lack of knowledge and skillset.

any advise or suggestion from all senior/otai/guru here

a lot of sifus there could help you with your queries and concerns

I would advise dont dump in big amount, it is like doing business, expect u would not make any profit in the first year, the reason is because u r newbie, and you don't have any strategy

Read more and refer to old but gold theory and investor/traders, be it Jesse Livermore, Box Theory, Wave theory etc, tune theirs to define your own strategy.

After that, stick to your strategy, my experience told that Discipline is the key factor, if ur strategy doesn't work, learn from the mistake and refine it.

For your questions of: how to stay consistent
I would ignore this, there is no consistent in stock market, stock market never consistent, it is not FD

one more thing, is it possible to make trading become fulltime career? bcos I saw on fb alot of people saying they are a fulltime trader. it sound quite interesting

the reason why I said tune theirs and define ur own strategy, is because the more u follow/read/watch others and the more u found their theory contradicts to each others, or even oxymoron on their owns.

The reason is because that there are different kinds of strategy, fundamental, technical, buy sell based on news, trend investing etc etc.
They might switch strategy at times and so

So it is important to know the "reason/strategy beauty behind" instead of a lot people who are basically sell and buy based on news, or blindly follow others "situ"

fulltime trade I would say is more on technical side, u could explore and see if u have sufficient knowledge on chart technical analysis

Im new too.. started trading weeks ago, mostly bought finance and they are now positive, i also believe that the next low might be 10 years after. Sorry if i said anything wrong here. Im a newbie

You miss a show yesterday . Topglove dropped to 30% in the morning then bounce back in the afternoon.
I'm as a newbie , not dare to collect when it dropped.

Like all market, when price is uptrend, many novices will join trend chasing; price will continue to rise until no more new money coming in. after some success some novices, will think they are gold fingers and become arrogant.

when the market is driven by sentiments, fundamentals are often ignored until it's matter.

First thing is, can u accept if u lose ur deposit? If u cannot accept loss, don't play stock. Stock does not guarantee ur deposit. U put rm1k today, u can lost half of it by tomorrow, and sometimes to wait for it to gain back it takes time. By that time if u put in FD u might have already earn the interest. So think carefully before jumping in to stock
