What's new:

- KLV07-07.Klif.sys calling NtOpenProcess vulnerability has been fixed.

Known Issues:

- Under certain conditions advanced mode disinfection may leave registry links to deleted infected files.
- Under Microsoft Windows Vista the installation program may freeze if there is an established VPN connection. To resolve the issue, we recommend that the VPN connection be broken prior to application install.
- With SSL scans enabled, there might be issues communicating with certain sites which require verification of a client certificate. To resolve the issue it is recommended that encrypted traffic from certain necessary applications be added to the exclusions.
- When updating Microsoft WindowsXPto Microsoft Windows Vista, the application has to be removed prior to the start of the update procedure and reinstalled following the update.
- When updating to a higher version of Microsoft Windows Vista (for example, from Home Basic to Ultimate), the application restore procedure must be performed.
- Writing the rescue disk to a DVD is not supported.
- There are compatibility problems with HTTP tunneling. Temporarily disable Web Anti-Virus to resolve.

Why wouldn't my kaspersky update itself to version 7? I'm not using Jack Sparrow version. laugh.gif Oops.. found the FAQ.

But somehow I can't use the old license key. cry.gif Nvm la, my v6 key is expiring this November. I'll get a v7 license key next time.

KAV or KIS 6 keys will NOT WORK with KAV or KIS 7.......This is because KAV and KIS 7 use difference key than version 6.......

You all must first upgrade your KAV or KIS 6 key to version 7 compatible....

I installed KIS 7 that day. I can't tell how much better it is compared to version 6, but in terms of interface, version 7 looks better. I took a glance at the new features and I spotted a few. One of it is parental control. tongue.gif

I think I'll just stick to version 6 since my key is expiring soon.

Hi, I just bought the kaspersky OEM v6 and i have been using it for few months and i tried to use the v6 key on to v7 and it does not work.
I have log a case to kaspersky and they said that the OEM version is not eligible to upgrade to v7.

I have generate the key from activation website, but does not work either.
