I would prefer Canon more then Sony as mostly pro used Canon,

Regarding about taking image in low-light conditions that would be how you control your flash lights and depends on the background of the places you want to take...

I take a few photo during the night with a few mode and try it out myself .... Turning On & Off the flash light make you have different effects
