Hi, anyone encounter slow internet speed after 8pm. I found out the speed limited to 2mbps. I had tried to locked Band 1, 3 and 7 but the speed still same, not more than 2mbps.

I can confirm hotlink is throttling our speed at night!

If speedtest to maxis server can get full speed. So i don't think it is congestion.

I just noticed it today. Tested it out and indeed we are capped to 2mbps. Wth i paid for premium data yet we get capped. i couldn't even load my app to make payment

just imagine those unlimited plan @ cap 3Mbps all day

Same, even postpaid biz 128 (60GB) & personal 98 (40GB) also get throttled for Youtube from 8pm onwards isn't this postpaid one plan consider premium already ? Somemore business plan

I guess maybe many abusing the network at night time??

Yep same issue here in Pahang, exactly from 8pm to 12am. When I speed test the server in Tokyo it can go pass 25mbps then few second it drop to 2mbps sharp, no more no less. Its frustrating that my PlayStation game can work at that time, taobao loading without pictures,or forever loading. I have to wait until 12:00:01am then everything back to normal. Well Anyone can help me on PlayStation network? I have came across some bro here saying have to call maxis to open the port so that my console connection wont get blocked or throttled. Whats the exactly things I have to request from maxis? Thank you.

How to enable VOLTE on Maxis? change SIM card ? I use umobile and my phone will show VOLTE icon, switch to hotlink SIM card it won't show VOLTE.

As i know Voice-Over-LTE is depend on telco and only certain brand and model of mobile phones are supported by each telco. They're all different i think...

Yes, I've noticed it few months ago before i convert to Hotlink Unlimited 3Mbps. Now i pay for the Merdeka promo of 11GB Free 25GB monthly pass, i definitely felt the throttling of YT and Twitch. Can't run in 720P without buffering after every few seconds. Didn't notice the throttling when im on Hotlink Unlimited 3Mbps thou... now I regret paying RM35 for 36GB data with speed cap at 8pm~12am everyday. Better get the RM35 for unlimited 3Mbps, at least i get free calls.

Nope...same case..am currently using that rm45 package+rm5 hotspot..speed capped at 8pm as well.. welp, even with that speed I somehow reach my "unlimited" cap of 50gb within 15 days of use...sad case
