Guys, hotlink prepaid can use sim kad in in lte modem and thethering?  Need for my sis college use as only maxis have stable connection there... Whats the monthly plan and data how many GB?

i port in to hotlink, activated, i saw banner rm30 topup free rm5. so top up rm30+10+30

1st time topup, the rm30 become rm29.85. notice no free rm5
2nd time, the rm10 become rm10
3rd/final time, then i tap on the banner rm30 topup free rm5, the rm30 become rm30, still no rm5 free

all topup use tng

i proceed to subscribe to rm35 hup. still no free rm5.

question:
1. why 1st topup become rm29.85 instead of rm30? nvm. found out it was due to xiaomi sim activation

2. where is my free rm5? it's in!! it seems maxis took awhile to process.

3. i use poco f1 miui 9.6. why the hotlink app everytime switch to autostart setting? i have to go back everytime i tap on something in the hotlink app. i check permission no problem. i even enable autostart, still no fix.

Do not buy the HUP35/45 plan first lah (but it got unlimited free calling ya), & see how it goes with ur unifi.

Another gaming situation is, the Hotlink apps only allow RM10, RM20, RM30, RM60 and RM100 denominations. Don't have RM5 or RM3 or RM1...



So, the viable combo of RM30 plus RM10 topup (but still 30 days validity) is the optimum to subscribe to HUP35 with RM5 balance for other usages (eg. SMS, purchase apps, rewards & vouchers, or the best is RM5 for 30 days "unlimited" hotspots).

We may however search around Shopee for odd topup denomination but would not enjoy the HotlinkMu rebate/cashback...
