Agree and "less" hidden agenda... I have no suffering experience under DiGi for 3 years last time... They just need to come up with better plans and packages to compete...

The 512kbps "truly" 100000000000000000GB limit per month is good enuff for me... After 50GB exhausted, can still do other things as usual ...so long as not below 128kbps, I'm OK ...

Once I received SMS from Hotlink, all my YouTube activity will be done in the background as shown below:

YouTube above 720P may overheat SOME devices depending on the SoC and Modem of the device...and also kill the battery too...

I always 480P but use 720P if looking at vix with lots of texts and numbers...if just talking and show, 480P is my choice...

My take so far after they have revealed the FUP Limit and also looking around for other prepaid offerings:

The 50GB FUP Limit is open for anything... not restricted to apps or activities...summore it does not need daily renewal and the best is no expiry date when this HUP35 will end...

Other telcos give very convincing "products" but have expiry date for unlimited "this-and-that" laaa... only for certain subscribers laaa (Looking at DiGi BOS).... why make things complicated and confusing...

So, HUP35 is the "No Pening Kepala" deal and str8 forward plan... Just topup RM30 or RM35 (whichever lower), and activate HUP35. That's the routine every 30th day every month...

I don't like products having the nice features but troublesome by daily activation laaa... topup this and that laaa... scroll the app search for the correct menu laaa... very complicated process... Too many "unnecessary" reminders need to monitor...That's why I am still with UMobile Postpaid GX58... And now this HUP35 is indirectly a "Postpaid" plan from my POV...

Although no bundle hotspot in the HUP35, the RM1/hour add-on is "logic" for hotspot need...but unfortunately, the hotspot quota is part of the 50GB FUP limit... So, for those really depends heavily on hotspot feature, avoid HUP35/45...

Other telcos still have time to counter what HUP35/45 is doing right now... I wish "one-year validity" feature will be their ONE-AND-ONLY weapon to destroy HUP35/45...

As of now, I'm 50/50 to MNP to HUP35... if other telco(s) can offer something similar PLUS one-year validity add-on, HUP35/45 will be erased from my memory...LOL...

Conclusion:
Honesty = 100000000000000 GB FUP Limit; while,
Hidden Agenda = negative 100000000000000 GB FUP Limit

I'm willing to pay RM65 for one-year validity... XOX and other MVNOs are cheaper... but for the simplicity and honesty that Hotlink had "shown", RM65/year is fair to me...

They edy "partly" exposed the truth, so, case close... may this be a lesson learnt for other telcos which still have lots of hidden agenda...

It's a good thing all telco push the term "UNLIMITED" so that we, the end-user, investigate kaw2 to find the hidden agenda...in the end, a lesson learnt to all telcos...

Now, all telcos MUST expose their FUP Limit and cannot hide anymore as ppl is aware due to this case...

Remember to set monthly limit in Android "Cellular Data Usage" :



So can check that no data leakage by hidden app(s)...

Before sleeping = X.xx GB used.
Wake up next morning = X.yy GB used remains unchanged (provided auto backup is turned off).
