Mate, what you eat is quite imbalanced. You have to take varieties of veggies and fruits too. Lettuce, broccoli, oranges and apples are quite cheap, aren't they? Don't go cheap on meat... Cheap meat is usually processed meat which is not healthy if eaten excessively.
-Getting more fibres will make your stomach filled longer which means you're less likely to feel hungry and this prevents overeating.
-Vitamins and minerals deficiency will slow down your metabolism... So you have to get them from veggies and fruits to help you lose fats.
If you can afford to buy these, please do it and eat different veggies every day (eating the same veggie on alternate days is fine)... It's not wise to go cheap on food just to save money...
