I have read several topic in the forum regarding tyre pro & cons and have difficulty to choose which 1 is better for me. I even look several tyre shop in ipoh & st 18 and the price each tyre brand is different up to rn50 for each shop.

Therefore, im myself got confuse already for what type of tyre i need to change (hopefully mco finish fast and need to travel to southern to see family).

Style of driving as normal driver, highway cruising 120 to 140kmh, during raining might drive up to 100kmh, driving saga flx 1.6. Silverstone is the original tyre from factory, only last 2 years for me even taking care of it. Then BFGoodrich currently already pass 3 years with mileage of 50k km. I might need to find next tyre which give me low noise, have grip for wet and dry, handling and comfort. Also, can withstand up to 3 years (as now car only use for long journey only)

Conti cc6
Goodyear triplemax 2
Toyo neo 3
Hankook venus prime 3
D06

1st i might prefer cc6, but as the discussion i might say it cant keep with my style of driving (issue on the sidewall & punctured issue) . Triplemax only 1 shop suggested to me. Neo3 i find interesting, hankook in the other hand, some say it loud, D06 is new in the market.

My budget around 200 below for the donut. Michelin is out of budget.

The pattern so harsh... But it category as UHP tyre if not mistaken, and surely level of noise quite high based on the pattern compared to triplemax

I am quite satisfied with Triplemax1.

Out of the list, I've only used CC6 and not a fan of those. Find it lacking in all division compare to Triplemax1. I dare to even say I'll take the Triplemax1 over the XM2.

So far I am on 40k for the Triplemax and still very decent and thread life there's still about 20% on the front and 40% on the back. I haven't rotated my tired before.

I don't know if they still sells Yoko AE50 or have it on your size, but that's one of the best all rounder tire I've been on. Made in Japan punya.

Lot of people give positive feedback for triplemax compared to cc6.. But u even dare choose triplemax over xm2.. So it really suit your driving style? As for the noise, is it acceptable even already reach 30k km?

I had 2 sets of XM2 on 2 diff cars. When it was new, was very nice. Quiet and grippy but once it reaches 40-50%, the cliff suddenly drop and the tire became so noisy and hard. The wet grip also went off the cliff. Was quite disappointed with it especially when the premium is RM 30-40 more per tire compare to others.

Nothing fancy to shout about on the Triplemax as came with the car stock, am about 40k in and noise level is still bearable. Of course not as great as new but the degradation hasn't been as bad as I expected. Still able to push in to corners pretty confidently. Wet grip is still there.

Why don't take PS3 for your size? Don't know what Silverstone series you're using but I don't think the noise and comfort would be anywhere worse than the PS3. For grip and handling, it's a diff planet alltogether. Price wise, slightly more exp for PS3 la.

Silver m5 if not mistaken as it was factory setup.
As for ps3, it beyond my budget (above 230 per pc at my area)
I do understand if want grip and handling, comfort and noise should be sacrifice. But as for long trip, prefered comfort and also have med grade handling, but good enough in the rain if things happen.. and have some suggestions from the tyre user is good enough for me to see am i make correct decision.. Coz tyre changing cost lot of money.. Hahaa.

D06 sounds really good.
Or hankok also good. Prime3 if not mistaken. The one replaced e2v12.
Adrenalin 004? I used 003 before, really good. Really like it for dry grip. Just wet grip not really good as compared to ps3. I using ps3 now.

D06 have less review yet.. Not so confidence to try it unless have people try it up to 20k km first.. Prime 3 have in my shortlist but currently might look forward for triplemax 2..

003 have rough pattern, might be out of list.. Due to ps3, its beyond my budget..

Goodyear assurance triple max seems to be a very good all rounder. Price, durability, comfort, grip all has been relatively good

Beyond budget.. Haha.. But hankook much preferable as budget and my driving type doesnt need this 004 tyre.. 004 or 003 much better if keep on full gas throttle
