How do i identify the ram speed(ex:- ddr 2700, 3200 etc.) based on the numbering on the chip?

Mine is 81117822A-100FN

Total chip is 16.

if it a DDR, then it cannot be fitted into DDR2 slot, and vice versa smile.gif
and i dun think the pc will be damaged by installing a false ram..only the beep sound will be produced if the system detects any error on it smile.gif

oit... bahayala if TS force plug the RAM, it might be damaging the RAM slot icon_idea.gif
anyway... if it's 168-pin, it is indeed, a SDRAM, which is the OLD one... don't you ever put into DDR slot icon_idea.gif
