I am trying to record digitally my acoustic guitar. But no idea whether the pickups sold in shopee or lazada is any good? Particularly if they need a pre-amp before going into Mic input of PC for recording.
Anyone can share their rig?

Why not just buy a mic and record? It would sound much better than the electronic sound of a pickup
this is actually what i do. all of my studio acoustic recording are recorded through a mic (Audiotechnica AT2020).

Because mic will also pickup background noises.
yep, very true. that's why you will need to get a noise reduction plugin. there are free plugins everywhere.
but if you really want your recording to go through a pickup, get the one you were asking [this pickup] to at least have a clean recording of your acoustic guitar, but if you want better results, i cannot recommend much aside from these: Zoom A2, or better if you can get a Zoom A3 (though either can be pricey).

thanks bro. I'll take a look at that Zoom.
Sure bro no probs. I think i didn't make it clear though. The Zoom models aren't pickup - they are preamp/effects models. So you will still need to buy that pickup separately to plugin to the A2 or A3.
good pickups require you to modify your guitar though since it originally didn't come with pickup. The one u shared may be good for ukulele or kalimba but they are horrible sounding for guitar. Very thin sound even with blu-tack
A good start will be this You will have to drill a small hole under your bridge and fit this pickup underneath. And since you are adding things underneath, you need to file your bridge down to size. You can get away with hanging the controls outside of the soundhole but eventually you'll need a way to mount the control box. And that requires some woodworking to cut a square hole.
There's also these soundhole pickups but these are hit or miss. And generally they convert your acoustic to sound very electric guitar like sounds. Please do not use on classical guitar... It won't work. I recommend changing your acoustic string to electric guitar strings if you are going this route for louder output.
Everyone gave good suggestion on using a microphone and that is honestly the "safest way without cutting your guitar up" If so I would recommend getting a BM800 condenser mic with an audio interface like Behringer UM2 (You can try the BM800 with minijack to see if it fits or not before getting the UM2)
UM2 is a good investment if you wanna start recording guitar. I plug my electric bass directly to my UMC22 with a common 1/4" instrument cable as a practice amp

idk bout you but it sounds like sh*t to me
no good pickup under Rm300 la I think
Got good pickup under RM300. But that requires some woodworking to put under-saddle pickup like every guitar with pickup. Good pickup easily cost RM60-100 but the woodworking is what makes it become RM300++

wah fishman got rm60 one, I thought minimum 3 digits
In any case, make sure you have an audio interface before plugging into your guitar pickup/PC.
AFAIK, you can't really connect a pickup directly into a PC mic input. You need some kind of soundcard/usb interface to convert the signal into digital.
And TBH nowadays you can easily find decent pickups under RM300 that do not require you to significantly modify or drill holes into your guitar.
Personally I have had tried many pickups and the ones from Rango, LR Baggs, Skysonic, SKYFOX are on my guitars just to name a few..
