Find a good DAC/Amp and try with Philips SHP9500.

QUOTE(captmcswag @ May 30 2020, 03:06 PM) Buy a cheap clip on mic or these instead:https://www.lazada.com.my/products/cooler-m...DA7eF1&search=1 https://www.lazada.com.my/products/cooler-m...Jlymbi&search=1 Those are rebranded Takstars, BTW IMHO there's no point for 'gaming' headsets as they often use very low quality drivers, and often gets 'tuned' in such a way that it sounds good for the uninitiated QUOTE The majority of gaming headsets are cheap, fairly crappy drivers paired with some fancy branding and a high profit margin. Many of them have tuning applied to try to cover up poor performance by sounding 'impressive' to the inexperienced/unknowledgeable (prime examples are a jacked-up midbass, and in some gaming audio products, overemphasised treble in the frequency regions that most commonly convey 'important' sounds, such as gunshots and footsteps). - Firereign @ Reddithttps://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comment...dsets_that_bad/ Just spend the money on a proper headphones then add on a good quality mic and forget these 'gaming' style headphones This post has been edited by chocobo7779: May 31 2020, 09:44 AM |
