During mco, did you just start the car, then shut it down again? If so, you might be running down the battery. Starting the engine uses a lot of battery power, so the battery must be allowed to recharge by driving the car or allowing the engine to run a while.
So, it's unclear whether the fault is with battery or fuel pump.

For your trip to the service centre, you might want to build up confidence by driving around the neighborhood (less dangerous if breaks down).
