Getting Started

So where can I learn basic graphic design online? The reason is that I've had my fill of retail & admin jobs and I want to move on. Long-term, I'm hoping to work for animation or game studios in Malaysia, but for now, I'm settling for working as a graphic designer for small companies, at least for a while. Since I didn't go to colleges for GD and now it's the MCO, I might have to go online to learn. So where to start? Udemy & Skillshare is tempting, but their reputation is meh. Best I can find is on Coursera, which is taught by CalArts; and Shaw Academy. Both are offering courses for free (for now). Any other online clases you'd recommend?

QUOTE(waghyu @ May 28 2020, 09:01 PM) What design you want to do? Or pleasure or for future potential income? Basic graphic design, nothing fancy. Enough to get hired by small to medium-sized companies like printing services such or local e-commerce.

Sometime got job for this, you want to learn something marketable and get paid even as part time job. Once you know, go get certificate, and tell people / future employer or client that you have certificate to do certain things.
