Nehalem doesn't have 8 cores. It is a super quad core.

These days the marketing ppl has successfully use "More cores = better" slogan, just like the oldern days where higher MHz = better performance.

Nah, it doesnt work this way at all. We must evaluate and estimate performance based on the architecture itself, not based on core/threads/clockspeed alone.
