Hii

Im planning on buying a 43 inch 4k tv with a good hdr performance.

There are a few 43 inch tvs available in the market but nothing really ticks my boxes.
Im looking for a tv that will perform well in a dark room, have an 'acceptable' peak brightness to make hdr look good, and also support for wide colour gammut. Im not a gamer and thus have no concern of the motion or input lag. I mostly watch hdr contents on netflix and prime video. I have a LG 55C9 in my living room and after watching HDR and DV contents on my LG, i just cant go back to my xiaomi mi tv 4 i currently have in my room.
Till now all the tv i have shortlisted does not tick all those boxes

Sony x70g
Pros - supports wcg
Cons - uses ips panel with poor contrast

Samsung ru7100 / tu8000
Pros - excellent contrast, supports hdr10+
Cons - poor peak brightness, no wcg support

Lg UM71
Pros - lg's web os
Cons - poor contrast, no wcg support

Panasonic gx600
Pros - supports hdr 10+
Cons - poor contrast, no wcg support

Its really sad that samsung didnt bring in their q60r in 43 inch size here in malaysia. I think that wud have been a good tv for my room.
Are there any other 43 inch tvs out there that u guys know of?
Thanks for your help.

most of the sharp model, after 1 or 2 years of using it, cannot watch astro due to HDCP

What about this tv? Just found this on philips malaysia website. It even supports DV and Atmos. However i cant really find any reviews online.

I tried calling a few SenQ and Harvey Norman outlets, but it seems none of them even heard of it? Any of you guys came across this tv before?

Thanks.

40-43" - not much choice.

the best features of a tv are only found in big tvs.

the bigger the size, the more models n brands with the latest features - all for one thing - sell at higher price, i.e. $$$.

smaller, 32", u may not even find a 4K model!

What about the Samsung TU7000 and the Xiaomi TV? Are these any good especially compared to the RU7100?
