Hello! I did a forum search and nothing come up. So hopefully I'm re-posting a known topic.

So only after I got a Surface Pro 7 then I know that it was a known issue that some devices will auto shut down if it is not plugged in.

I tried some of the recommended fixes on the internet such as:
- updating windows
- force shut down
- adjust the power settings

But the problem still persist so, I wonder if anyone has come up with a fix?

If not, I'll probably return it to the shop to claim the warranty. Which s*** because I used this laptop for work regularly.

Cheers.

No wan wants to buy surface la... Useless piece of junk.

There are better product than surface from HP, Dell (not so reliable), Asus and Huawei.

Yes...I'm talking about computer tablet with touch screen and pen.

Really man.

Save your money for something else that can be used for many years.

Some tech aren't as good as it is claimed by the west. It's a marketing strategy for you to buy their product at an inflatable price!

And the warranty for surface. really sucks! One person only can claim one unit of surface.

What happen if i buy 2-3 unit? the second and third unit warranty void?

I had the Surface Pro 1 before. Damn thing so bloody slow at everything. Sold it for 75% cheaper than market. Bought a proper laptop instead. So much faster and usable.

Just claim warranty and get it sorted. Like every manufacturer, there are some lemons and that's normal. No such thing as one warranty claim per person as well. It goes by device and as long as the device is still within its warranty period, it'll be fine.

These are exceptional hardware and I've used plenty over the course of my years in work and business. I have the Book, Pro 4, Go and Pro X and there really isn't anything bad about the Surface line like what some others are making out.

Ya I suspect so after trying all the fixes. If it is, then all that left is to claim the warranty.

Well thanks everyone for the replies, I think I know what to do next

Cheers!
