Hi, so what is the best way to pay for a used car in cash?
As in do you bring in wads of cash, or cheque, or credit cards, or bank transfer?

So to make it easier for everyone, how do you pay cash for a car worth

1. RM10k
2. RM20k
3. RM40k
4. RM80k

Or other value of your experience or advice

Thanks!

online transfer. you could transfer up to rm100k /day.

No need to worry if you do not launder money or if you don't get illegal undeclared incomes.

Below 50K better pay cash. I have friends who paid 30K cash for a used car. He doesn't want a loan commitment. Another paid 70K for a used Triton. Again, zero commitment.

The reason because used cars no warranty. With zero loans, u will spend money on repairs only. Nothing else to pay.

If a loan, u not only need to pay for the repairs but also service the installments. Double whammy.

If a brand new car, better than a loan because by the time the loan finish, the warranty also over.

100k limit is applicable to all or do we need to ask bank to give special permission?

Temporarily increase your credit card limit, swipe to earn points.

Especially useful for some credit card having promotion, eg: swipe 20k in a month and get a luxury watch / travel suit case

Still be careful with banker's cheque when transacting because there are a few cases of forged banker's cheque
