I'm planning to get a new washing machine and vacuum, but I'm not sure what to do with the older ones. Planning to upgrade because the old ones are not working well. Anybody knows if shops can help take them away and if they do, do I get something like a cashback or discount for them?

If not, anybody know the contact for people who can help take these item away?

Additionally, how about sofa? If there's a service that can repatch the old sofa that would be helpful, else contact on people that can move them away would be fine too.

Thanks.

Yeah, you could send it to Senheng, they accept e-Waste if I'm not mistaken. No money involve, you don't have to pay them and they also will not give you any money of cashback.

There is a shop that collect all 2nd hand items like furniture, sofa, washing machine etc.

The offer price is quite low though because they will use their own lorry and workers to come pick up our items.

I managed to get about RM400 after selling all my old items when moving house 2 years ago. Not bad actually.

was actually thinking of getting new appliaces from them, so this is good news for me. no cashback is a bummer though, but better than nothing i guess

this is just a mover service right? so i still need to get in contact with the pace that do the recycling/repair isn't it? but i'll save this in case i need to move house or something lol

another alternative was that i fix the old appliances, then sell back to the seller for discount. not sure if they do that, and if so, not sure if it'll be worth it (as in discount is more than the cost to fix it)

Choose Disposal service. They offer multiple services, not just a mover.

Which shop is this? I would like to know as well.

I used Abumama. Not sure if they are still around.

You can get their quotation first by sending photo of items you want to sell. But do expect them to reduce the offer price if the actual condition is worse.
