Dear forumers,

Since MCO has started, barbers cannot operate and "many" resorted to cutting their own hair, well, can't go wrong with that army cut/botak look/buzzcut.

Not sure if this is a mere coincidence but I did notice there surprisingly quite a number of young adults sporting the botak look. Last time rarely see younger guys (20-30s) sporting that haircut. Not sure if that's their haircut from the beginning or this is due to covid19.

Botak is not that popular among the young working adults who may prefer undercut all this while.

My question is will botak gradually become the new normal, since it is easier to manage?

And is botak haircut an acceptable image for those young executives (like in banks, etc)?

Yes. It is accetable if the person looks good.

if the person gone bald naturally how?

what kind of question is this?

since whn botak haircut is not acceptable?

Aiya, i mean those who cut botak (army look) by choice, not those who have no choice. sorry for the confusion!

botak haircut is acceptable for all occassion

nobody cares about ur hair.. just dont be too extravagant..

work performance is far more important..

I have long hair in a man bun. So 2 months of MCO did not bother me one bit.

You show up at work looking just normal when everyone else has messy or badly cut hair.

at 1st i wan to do undercut...but turn out cacat..so i army look lo......the look kindda look ganas abit........might intimate to some ppl.so just smile /laugh alot ok liao

I bet you trim the sides and backs too? Anyway how long it takes for you to grow the man bun? Sure alot of awkward in between stages

Problem is many don't look that good (in botak), or worse, what about those below-average-looking guys haha

botak idk... but alot of ppl rocking #1 machine cut nowadays

Nice for round face not nice for oval face

side easy but that line between side and back is hard to make is straight line and neat...anyway i am army style liao...so much easyier

botak is cool and tidy

Darker skinned people look better botak.

Depends on the head shape.

If lonjong will look like an alien.

If round shape will look very nice.

Botak licin looks real good on some ppl, but harder to maintain then normal hair style.

Not botak, but military style.

Botak very nice... i started botak few months before MCO. Now MCO started my hair is damn long, i hate it. Easy to cut botak or not... im not sure. i dont think it will look neat if i cut it myself

I have a beard trimmer. Just use to trim the sides and beard.

About 1 year.

Haven't been to a salon for 1.5 years. Save a few hundred bucks. Best thing is, don't need to use hair products. Just shampoo and conditioner usage up.

Yep! Botak looks good on both of them.

I want to go for botak or clean shave.. I havr male pattern baldness like M shape but my hair is thick...
