from review in 1 site it claims that it can sync 900Mb of songs into shuffle 2G for 4-5mins. meanwhile i took almost 1 hr to sync 700 Mb of songs. i'm using usb 2.0 there, should be fast. is it that the review is exaggerating?

did you plug it directly to the USB port or you plugged it through a USB hub?

usb port. now i know what's the prob liao. if enable the option "convert higher bit rate to 128kbps", then sync-ing will be much slower. so don't use it unless you wanna fit as many songs as possible to ipod btw, whn i was in melaka using broadband, i cant update the fw. but whn come back to penang use dialup can update wor. ahaha

jacklsw86, if you were on Streamyx... that's normal.
let us know... cos lately TM.net has been blocking the iTunes servers... not sure what exactly they're trying to prove...
