U dont really need a clean install. Just restart the pc, uninstall by add/remove prog, delete the files in ur document n settings of deluge, u dont need to delete the torrent folder there, install the newest deluge.

The only prob i have with deluge so far is that everytime i close the sucker i get program has an error blah blah... then it rehashes all my torrents again...

No probs with the new release 0.5.6.1, freaking fast. Had to delete the files in the settings/docu but of course left the torrent files alone so i can get them going again.

Hashing also seems faster...

I think the encryption in the new Deluge is cracked by StreamieSex or it's not working properly....

THey r injecting data into the packets to u n coming from u that tell the clients that the connection is closed. So u got a lot of peers n seeds but when u want to send data to each other u both get connection is closed.

Simpliest method then just checking for rc4 encryption then blocking the ports consistantly.

I figure its just easier to check the packet for rc4, inject the close connection instrustions to both clients then if the seeder has a huge queue ur request will be put on the end of the queue or delayed. Less strain then just forcefully closing ports.

Edit: Maybe they r employing both methods?

hisokaman, if u check ur task manager... after deluge crashes there should be a process called *** demon *** or whatever running still... close that too n run Deluge again.

As for my speed its nearly back but not on Virgin Deluge.. am 'tunnelling' thru the net ... will turn deluge back to virgin again on thuresday which is when streamiesex should have processed my bill payment n see if my speeds r back to normal....

U can make all sorts of laws u want... it the enforcement part that matters. I would love to see them take to court n fine a lower middle class malay father cause his son was not smart enough to use ip blacklist when he was BTing.

u dont need both. u only the sp1 one... since it is a redistribute pack means its the runtime plus the sp1.

Ran a test.... look what i got... gonna back up some stuff on my BT pc n confirm my idea... if it is true then that's soo lame what tm is doing. BT pc with same torrent n settings getings 6.5k/s or average of 4.2k/s.

An idea for those that r having probs with errors.... try to keep the total number of torrents in ur list from 8-10. It should not crash then...
