QUOTE(Suk @ Oct 8 2007, 01:53 AM) ahh~~~ finally. Everytime i use Deluge my port will automatic blocked / closed ~~ Weird, How comes it will automatic block. ( I did an experiments, Open Deluge and torrents are in PAUSE mode. then i go to do port test. PASS / OPEN then i start all torrents > Keep doing then port checking, within 1minute PORT BLOCKED, after than I pause all torrents > close deluge > open deluge again > pause all torrents > port check > open > start all torrents > within 1min port BLOCK. ) so within the 1minute i can check every good speed and peers > after 1minute all goes very slow. as a result, Deluge very slow for me right now. True, I have the same problem, the port becomes blocked a second later. I do not have this problem with alpha 7 (though it has that strange random active port thingy, well as long as I get full speed, I don't mind).

Putting encryption on Either instead of full stream DOES help increase torrent speed. My torrent (which runs on 5 kB/s due to low seeds/peers) increased to 20 kB/s and above.

if you disable UPnP or Nat-PMP, you have to manually port forward the port you're using..if uPnP or Nat-PMP is enabled, no need to do port forwarding then.

Deluge works. Find a good torrent, and it will blast thru to the ceiling. I was stuck at 5-6 kbps. With Deluge, I'm getting up to 95kbps.

@emilz Bro you might wanna do some read up here at http://thevistaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=17098 .. Hope the thread can give some ideas. Apparently Vista's firewall is quite a pain in the backside. @firestater Not to burst your bubble bro...But a good portion of us Deluge Win port users (in terms of OS-specific version diffs) with screamyx 1M (1536-512) can nail that speed easily too with 77 seeders (and with even lower seeders' counts than that at times or with diff torrents). This is coming from a guy with a perma 60.5x.xx.xx fyi. P.S:- Got nothing against Ubuntu mind you... I'm 1 of those 'tired of Win as main, looking for switchies' types as well. Just that atm I'm superbly lazy to deal with diff partitions and juggling gaming to other tasks. This post has been edited by eq8all: Oct 9 2007, 02:49 PM
