since your dining area need to fit in min 8 pax, it will occupied much larger space on the living area.

In order to have a comfortable tv watching distance and sofa seating set up, I will suggest you position the the piano at the left hand side of the main entrance. Can do a new divider for piano backdrop.

As for dry kitchen, yes the space is consider small to accomodate an island with 6 pax, the max is shown on my layout diagram, can fit in 3 bar stools, yet do take note the walkway around the kitchen will be quite narrow as a result.

it is still ok if you can bear with this condition.
