Im moving to an empty unit, 800sqft with bad lightning environment (all small windows, no balcony). Will need to put lots of downlights

I'm thinking the usual white ceiling, gray walls. Below is from nipponpaint selection. Silver mist or graycloth better? Or other color suggestion?

And mid-sheen or matte better for its coating?

If my toilet (new unit) is like this picture, what do u suggest to do?

I want to apply plaster ceiling to cover this exposed ugly pipings, but i'm concern if let's say got water leak later, will be hard to fix. If make some "covered hole" (not sure terminology), also quite hard to acces the pipe.



And 2nd question, how else can i deco the toilet, make it more easy to the eye.
