Interested to know what others think about this as well - i know the least that we can do is have a floorplan ready, have a rough idea on the preferred theme and have a budget.

Have you tried qanvast or atap those kind of platform?
Or would it be better to just contact the preferred IDs straight and proceed from there?

Let me use my experience - With a floorplan, you just proceed to chat with an ID, and move on from there. Your ID will ask you on an estimated budget, your preferences, your requirements etc. Then, an proposed quotation will a clear list of everything that is included will be calculated.

Will ID estimate the price part by part? There are Plan A & Plan B in my mind, some of the area not sure if i should renovate or not.

You can talk to your ID and see. There were 2 proposals / quotation when I did mine. But that was before any drawings ya.

According to the company I am dealing with, most of the industry on reno works are still clearing up their backlogs since... I don't know when. Also, price has been increasing so one will have to pick and choose the "need" and "want" when doing the reno works.
