If you ok with queen size bed, then it is possible to have a walk in wardrobe like this.

because of the 14ft bedroom length limitation, we suggest keep top row wardrobe to sliding type and the bottom wardrobe 450 to 500mm depth cabinet with adjustable shelving for folded clothes, shoe, towels, small items storage.

If you ok to have these wardrobe without doors covering, then it can help to make the walk in wardrobe feel wider.

I will say opt for Option B yet reposition the wardrobe entry position which will provide smoother walk flow whenever you enter the wardrobe, go to dressing table also without need to virtually turn a big round before entering bathroom.

can relocated the air con little bit to right side away that is not a complicated works for contractor.

Hope this help.

Hi Ehwee,

Which design do you think is better? (dry kitchen + dining area)
Is it okay to put my dining table in the middle? I have no idea where else to put. Do you have a better idea?

What should I do with the empty space circled in orange?

Thank you!

Hi Ehwee,

Thanks for doing this and really appreciate your advice on this.

I plan to knock down the wall (circled in red) to expand dry kitchen and dinning area. My wife loves to bake so an central island is a must. Can you suggest a layout after breaking the wall?

Another question is, will you recommend adding a partition between my living and dining area? As you can see, when I open my main door I can see everything is a straight line. shocking.gif

Yes, it is good idea to take away the existing to extend the kitchen with island.

Here is what you can have.

As for dining divider, it's depend on your preference actually, if you concern on fungshui, then a divider is a fine option.

Hi Ehwee,

Seek your professional advice for my new house's wet kitchen.

1. There are two pillars/beams in my wet kitchen. I made a complaint to the developer and they claimed that it is as per drawing. If that's the case then the architect is really failed. I've never seen such in a kitchen.
2. The width of kitchen top from the left pillar to window is deeper compare to the right side. Again, thanks to the architect.

Do you have any idea how to hide the beam? Especially the left side one. I don't know where to install my cooking hood and hob now.
