I've got a small rectangular kitchen and lack countertop and base cabinets. I'm planning to remodel and make L-shape base cabinets with hob/hood/sink, and with additional outer wrap around base cabinets and quartz countertop all the way until the end of the green wall (wall only about 400mm wide).

On the outer wrap around, I'm thinking to have two base cabinets (facing the 900mm doorway) i.e. a 600mm x 600mm one on the right side (attached to the base cabinet in the photo) and a smaller one on the left side to fit the green wall. But there is a drain hole and drain cover on the floor (you can see it below the rag cloth).

I am considering my options as follows:
1) Can I cover the drain hole up so that I can build in proper outer wrap around base cabinets? It is a condominium.

2) If item 1 is not doable, can I still make the quartz countertop all the way to the end of the green wall with the countertop sticking out at the green wall from the 600mm x 600mm base cabinet without a leg to support? Then make a portable base cabinet on wheels with its own countertop, to fit underneath the quartz countertop so that the drain hole and drain cover are still accessible.

3) Or let the quartz countertop stick out at the green wall and put a leg to support, so no smaller base cabinet here? But I don't really like this idea as it looks like I have a kitchen peninsular next to the toilet.

4) Or just build the 600mm x 600mm base cabinet and let it stick out facing the doorway as an end base cabinet instead of making outer wrap around cabinets?

5) If the outer wrap around cabinet or end cabinet ideas are not good, then is it better to just make buildin cabinets at the 2400mm wall? But the depth can only be 300mm in order to maintain 42inch walking space in between the base cabinets. But I don't really like this idea either because it's kind of cram, the cabinets are narrow and short (probably only 900mm long).

6) Or push the fridge nearer to the 900mm doorway and build a 450mm base cabinet next to it at the 1000mm wall? But this way I still lack countertop space on the left of the stove. Apart from the stove, I always have 3 other appliances in use and a small dishrack on the countertop.

I suppose it's quite weird to have an outer wrap around base cabinets next to the toilet but 12ft countertop and its base cabinet storage space is not sufficient for me as it includes the hob and sink. I also do not like upper cabinets (which I do not use based on experience), prefer some open shelves, railings and rods instead due to functionality.

If you don't mind, can I ask a follow up question? Is it possible to have drawers and/or pull-out shelves with doors for the 450mm depth low cabinets, or I don't have a choice and can only make those fixed shelves (which will not be suitable for me) due to the reduced depth?
