I quite disagree with your comment though... No doubt Judo is unable to kick or punch... but take downs or throwing is still Judo's area... No offense to other Martial Arts... and Judo is not necessarily reliant on its clothing... there are many techniques which can be use on the street... reliant on the clothing is only part of the rules that one has to follow during the tournament... maybe there is a misunderstanding?
