hi guys, nice thread goin here (apart frm d flamming n stuff... ) i used to practice&learn martial arts back at schooling days (in Perak) but had stopped when came to KL... cuz unfortunately d art is not popular here as compared to TKD, Karate, etc... my school/art form was called Tang Soo Do...its an empty handed, traditional Korean martial art of self defense. Dunno whether any guys have heard of/learnt it here.. here's some info: http://www.worldtangsoodo.com/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tang_Soo_Do

QUOTE(MFLooi @ Feb 29 2008, 01:55 PM) Hi Full Throttle, There is a Tang Soo Doo/Hapkido (unsure) class in Taman Segar Community Hall in Cheras. The senpai's name is Lai. I however, do not have his contact number. You should dropby the community center to get the contact if you are serious about it. Alternatively, you may head to Everybody Martial Art in Jalan Brunei, Pudu or Oriental Martial Art in Taman Segar (Leisure Mall Cheras) to check on the latest happenings and offerings of martial scene in Klang Valley. Tang Soo Doo is very popular in Borneo apart from wushu. ok ok, thanks 4 ur info bro.. i actualy stopped on red (advanced) level...1step from gettin black belt... too bad had to stop back then anyway, all d best 2 every martial artist here
