I just got this maxis one go wifi and the speed is terrible     ( around 15-30 mbps all day )... Which is strange as my maxis postpaid mobile data is able to get around 100mbps in my area...

I thought both of them are supposed to be the same and share the same speed???

Im using tp link TL -MR 6400 router...

So is the router trash or something is wrong with maxis  

ps: I have change my wifi channel to 11 and the speed is still same

Hey guys, does upgrading router will give me better and stable connection? Currently using the Maxis router Huawei B315.

Using Maxis WiFi 138 from 2018 and getting 70-80 Mbps but nowadays not stable connection and keep getting 3G and only getting 10Mbs lol.

Any suggestion?

Not sure who else is experiencing this problem.

Am using Huawei B818 and keep getting this error and my connection would be cut off, having to restart to fix it. Had to restart about 10 times per day.

The IP address seems to be Maxis's DNS

just got the modem and sim card, power on, can't register to the 4G network. Swap sim card with my mobile phone, my ori phone sim card can use the modem, but the new sim card cannot register network again on the phone. What the ..... calling maxis past 60 minutes no one pick up the call.

Many users of this Go WiFi plan already confirmed all video streaming sites would get throttled to 512kbps once reaches 300GB usage. So, this plan is definitely not suitable for users who loves to watch TV.

Hahahaha, bro, same boat here. I complained to MCMC, in the end, Maxis Customer Service will email you asking for more details (location and all), now waiting for their reply.
As for termination, I asked also. I signed up 2 months back, need pay RM 318 to terminate. The longer u stay on the plan, cheaper termination fee according to CS.

The throttle not only streaming, extended till the whole bandwidth. I still puzzled in where of the clause did they highlight this throttle, else this is mis-inform customer and they should be penalized for this.
It's annoying that I can't continue work with the reduced bandwidth. Dealing with big data is no fun with this throttle.

- Totally aware on the 300GB capped to 20MB, and i'm fine with that.
- Also aware on the stock router limit to 4G LTE only, and the top speed cap. Fine with that as well, i could live with 30~40MB top speed.
- TOTALLY NOT OK with 8M-12AM un-reasonable throttle across the type of consumption. If you only limit the speed to video/audio streaming, i could still open one eye close one eye and accept it. But come on, throttle hammer on the rest of web browsing? Could even barely connect to my VPN, left alone managing my big data analytic or cloud activity ...

I felt cheated. Just sign up today with GoWifi, put sim card into router and I only got 5-6mb of speed only. But my maxis postpaid is completely fine and faster speed. I’ve done wrong? Haihhh
