Use antenna can get extra 10mbps depends on location.but it tend to slow upload speed

Anyone can confirm this router work with other Telco simcard?

today my usage reached 300gb, everything is throttled to 512kbps. Can barely do anything online. I double confirmed with the staff before i register this plan and they say oh no speed throttle terms and conditions. Will visit them in the evening to "clarify" things very pissed.

I just bought a sim wanted to test out. The promoter said after 300GB only video will be throttled (which was shown in a leaflet too) But I didn't take a picture just now. Hmmm

Yes, previously all videos streaming sites were getting throttled to 512kbps after 300gb usage. Other things, it would be throttled at 20-30mbps. Not sure whether Maxis has re-amended this “Go WiFi” again.

I experience difference between this One Go Wifi speed and my MaxisOne Postpaid 4g speed when insert both sim on the same phone...

1) Are you testing it on the same phone on same SIM slot?
2) Is your phone a dual SIM 4G+ supported?
3) How much is the usage for each SIM?

For my previous experience, they both are getting around the same speed at my location.

Got a called for Maxis, ask me to sign this plan as they saw i every month finish my mobile plan 110GB.

I asked them confirmed no quota? They say no.
I asked them after 300GB usage, any slow down, they say no slow down.

after 300 gb usage:

overall speed capped @ 20 mbps

spotify / tidal capped @ 512kbps

google services and youtube also capped, but hit and miss.

I'm wondering if the ZTE Modem is Cat4 or Cat6? Does it receive 4G+ signal? I only bought a sim card to test on my TP-Link MR100 modem. Thinking to get the ZTE modem if it does indeed support 4G+ / LTE-A

No, the ZTE from Maxis is a 4G only router.

Hi I was using hotlink prepaid unlimited to my 4G/LTE unlock broadband. but recently i changed to this Maxis One Go wifi. However it seems like sometimes it will get lost in connection. Everytime the connection lost, I will change use my previous hotlink sim card and the connection recovered. Then I change the sim card again to this postpaid maxis and connection recovered. Does anyone know is this problem is cause by the sim card or the wifi router? Or my network connection? If it is causes by the wifi router I can consider buy a better wifi router. I feel tired of changing the simcards already. Please help🥺🥺🥺

Been noticing intermittent or slow connection at nights at my location. Living next to the Maxis Tower and office. But when reported on the whatsapp chat, no reply for more than 2 days already.

Yup, same on my side. Every night from 8pm to 12am, there's a throttle from Maxis (they blame it on CMCO but the throttle seems intentional everyday same time, same speed and I think all telco does this) , reducing the overall speed to 2 Mbps and only 360p streamable. If u do a speedtest on Maxis server, shows no throttle but try doing speedtest in other servers not owned by Maxis, only 2Mbps.

Didn't see this sort of throttling on Celcom Home Wireless/Unifi Mobile/TuneTalk

Maxis asked me to off modem, take out sim, put back in and start again.

just got the modem and sim card, power on, can't register to the 4G network. Swap sim card with my mobile phone, my ori phone sim card can use the modem, but the new sim card cannot register network again on the phone. What the ..... calling maxis past 60 minutes no one pick up the call.

most probably they did not activate the sim properly. no choice have to call Maxis at 123 or message them on Twitter @maxislistens , must follow @maxislistens to send DM

guys my company just got me this maxis one go wifi
i put the maxis sim into maxis ZTE router, its not working
but i put into my phone, can access to internet

then i try to put my celcom sim into ZTE router, its working fine

what is wrong ah
is my maxis sim locked or ZTE router locked
