graduated from TARC, it is chinese oriented but if you have good and stable language, communication skill i don't think that's a problem, one thing choosing TARC def cz course fee is much more affordable...my fam can't afford for getting me into any college so ptptn only the way which is the reason i enrolled into TARC...

some say that TARC/UTAR everyday ching chiong but I do have friends that excel in own way in working world.

As an MMU grad in the early 2000, MMU was top notch and attracted many bright students who did very well in SPM back then.
And yes, there are diverse of students from different background, very good exposure. MNCs like Intel and Motorola tend to hunt students from MMU.

Fast forward 20years now, MMU is slipping down the ranking and the Engineering faculty intake is so few that nearly close shop, what happened to MMU these days?

10 years or earlier ago I would say MMU. Ever since I left eons ago, a bulk of the good lecturers followed the FOE Dean to UTAR. These are all old school graduates mostly from UM. They are replaced by less capable people unfortunately.

I see.. yea, that's what I understand too..
Prof Ghauth, Prof Chua, Prof Ewe, Prof Lee etc all the prominent President and Dean left for UM, UTAR and TARUC

Prof Chua was like the brain behind MMU in the early days..

The lecturer is exaggerating la. Are you from FOE?

SPM grads are shunning STEM and flocking to Law and IT.

Probably students are lacking the interest in studying engineering these days
