1) 3.9k salary for fresh grad is more than okay.

2) no fresh grad can earn 8k, not even in the OnG without alowance. Your friends are lying to you

I must say i suspect this thread was started because someone got angry about one of my thread. Let me just say that it was never my intention to brag(As if i get fulfilment from bragging) or make anyone angry. Just wanted to share my problem and depression because perhaps there are other people out there who is in the problem i am facing too.

If my apologies to those who felt insulted by my post will calm you all down then i will gladly apologise and i will know that this is not the suitable place for me to share my problem nor ask for advice.

PS : I did close the original thread to avoid arguing or escalating the issue. (I am depress so i dont really know why i am even on this forum in the first place)

3.9k for a start is considered quite good.

To be honest, it is not how high your salary is that matters but, it is how you manage your money and make more of it.

Spend half of it, less even better. Don't upgrade your lifestyle according to your salary. Don't rely on your salary to survive next month (no saving, no emergency money, just spend all your money and wait for the next salary).

Depression starts from jealousy/envy. Please don't layan that feeling.

You are right. I agree with you. I am jealous of my peers making so much more then me and that is why i became depressed. I will instead try to be happy that they are successful.

My starting salary was RM5k.

Heck the graduate programme that I was in before bumped their salary to RM6k now.

Just because you're shit, doesn't mean everyone are.

Your social circle are bunch of losers.
