So after more than 1 yeas ayam duduk ini rumah, my usual water bill is either free RM0, or RM5 or RM6.

Ayam dont even have washing machine, or farm or whatever that use lot of water.



But this month, crazy suddenly receive bill almost RM57 !!!!!






Ayam close all inside house pipe and see the main meter outside to know whether got bocor or not. After 2 minutes of observing, meter woon't budge at all, meaning no leakage, right?

So what ayam need to do now? Cilaka RM57 for a water bill.

Maybe MCO you guys use more water because stay at home 100%. Check the meter reading and calculate yourself 1st.

Just got my keys n fix the meter right before MCO. Previous month bill is RM0 suddenly this month RM14. Well of course I got test the tap got water and flush twice. Maybe they estimate during this MCO.

2nd, the free water expired for selangor resident, u need to re apply again

monthly only RM 20.. but this month jump to 196..

have all of you who complained here wonder if your household actually use more water than the normal months due to MCO?

of course there are exceptional case like rm10+ spike to RM50-60 but still most of the people here complain about a rm5-10 spike like wtf lol

Cause selangor the first few m3 of water is FREE.

Anything above that we pay.

But now they smart, "We will HELP the people by not charging them monthly, we will charge by combining 2 months bill"/

So suddenly your usage spike cause last time use 10 free 8m3 you pay 2m3 monthly. Now use 10x2 = 20m3, free 8m3, you pay 12m3.... congratulations

8 cubic metres as usual.

Selangor is free first 20 cubic metres.

I have not been paying my Air Selangor bills since 2008. All free.

i think during mco, they cant cuz unable to see how many units use that month.

i too got sudden spike albeit small, from free to rm8 and jump to rm21 this month. Doesnt make sense to me since we nvr change our usage pattern, has been consistent all the time and even if look at past record our usage graph is mostly stable line even during mco period, then suddenly May record shoot up in reading.... For what i duno.

after that maybe will have readjustment as u paid march and april with bil angaran

well since anyone can read the water meter, it is easy to see whether the meter used in the bill is accurate or not right? if meter reading is same as in the bill, that means the bill is accurate and water leakage might be the issue. if reading is not same as what is stated in the bill, that means the bill is based on estimate and charge correctly. and the beginning meter reading can be used to determine that water amount cover how many months of usage. just check previous bill to see if they tie.

Unforrunately water is not under federal but state n i dont see how selangor government gonna solve diz issue yet

actually the calculation is correct but the way they simply estimate is wrong

for example my bill in Mar, it is still 17m3 but Apr they estimate 6m3...
then May they come real reading 29m3...
by right Apr should be somewhere around 17-18m3 as you can see total from Apr and May is 35m3 but they charge extra on the 9m3 as over 20m3 got higher charge.

same thing happen again on Jun with estimation 12m3 and real reading on Jul with 28m3...
i ask them to get prorate over 2 months like tnb but don't want reply me...
