QUOTE(neato4u @ Sep 11 2007, 10:33 PM) Ok that is good news. But can someone point the guide how to do this via XS++ Sorry, I didn't notice your post before I did try the breakloader method. I flashed the ssw file into my phone (which then resulted in a dead phone until i flashed the REST file again) but after flashing the breakloader, i still can't access FS from FAR - it says reading 1byte(s) and then stuck there. Therefore i can't flash the REST back! So RM50 gone by sending the phone to a hp shop at mines to get it fixed Oh and i want to share this with all of you guys. Taken with K750i at Putrajaya Masjid. Picture as it is, no editing whatsoever. Taken using macro mode. Anyway, you need to patch FAR with some certain files to use it with CID49 phones... Don't ask me which ones because I can't remember, and I don't exactly use FAR for modding BEHOLD! Erm... At the back of the phone, where all the serial number/IMEI/Sirim stickers are located. Look for something like W20Y06, which means week20year06

QUOTE(lencent @ Sep 13 2007, 07:44 PM) Who says so? QUOTE(neato4u @ Sep 13 2007, 08:39 PM) do i rename the file inside to camdriver0.dat? I've done this at least 50 times liao (Not including those I did for my friends) and so far no problems And extract to /ifs/settings/camera/camdriver0.dat Anyone got k750i original camdriver0.dat? In case i messed this up again If i use XS++ and put these in files_to_upload on CID49 K750i, this will work?? I don't want my phone to pengsan again So, dare to try? Eh? CID49 is actually quite good, plenty of menus, icon pack, patches, mods, and drivers were made for them... Like I said, after you get the hang of it, it'll be easy. And XS++ is actually quite safe

FSX is not a program, it's a function of XS++ which is used to upload files to your phone's FS. Using FSX with CID49 is not as easy as CID51/52 where you just click a button and everything begins to upload. Since so many people PM me, I might as well just tell you guys here
I'll be using W800i's firmware and a CID49 K750i as an example. 1) Download a compatible MAIN firmware for your K750i, one that matches your customization files eg. APAC MAIN must be paired with APAC_1 custom files. 2) Slide the MAIN you downloaded with GSlide so it becomes compatible with your CID49 as all W800i's MAIN are initially CID36 and will not work on your phone. 3) Apply any VKP patch you want during the sliding process. 4) Start the sliding and wait for the process to complete... Walla! You now have a ready MAIN Next, 1) Paste all files you want to upload into the "files_to_upload" folder within XS++ folder, with the correct directory structure eg. camera driver belongs in "ifs/settings/camera/". 2) Start XS++, and connect your phone. 3) Click "Customize File System". 4) Click "Settings" under "Configuration". 5) Click "BreakXS" for "Wayin". 6) Click "FSX" under "Configuration". 7) Click "Start FSX". 8) XS++ will flash "Breakloader" and you might be asked to unplug and reconnect the phone during this process. 9) Once XS++ has access to the FS, files in the "files_to_upload" will be transfered to the phone. When done, you might be asked to to unplug and reconnect the phone. Finally, 1) In XS++, click "Flash" under "Configuration" and flash the MAIN you prepared earlier. DO NOT flash the File System. 2) When XS++ says it's done, it's done You can now start using your phone again <----- REMOVE THE SIM CARD AND MSPD BEFORE FSX AND FLASHING! -----> And <----- FOLLOW XS++'s INSTRUCTIONS! -----> There, I think you guys can see the lines clearly Added on September 13, 2007, 10:26 pmIf you just want to flash the MAIN and FS, then skip the whole section on FSX. MAIN and FS must be prepared with GSlide. And this header must be used in GSlide for firmwares (MAIN and FS) with Chinese support: "header__DB2010_49_red_344blocks.bin" After flashing the FS, your phone needs to be customised. After FSX, CID49 phones cannot start until you reflash the MAIN because the firmware is "broken" during BreakXS... Sort of la
Haha... Modding CID51/52 phones are easier because all these steps are not required |

Nah... I don't mind, just go ahead and post
The sliding part only applies to a W800i firmware which is CID36 based. Since you'll be using a CID49 MAIN for your K750i, then the sliding aka conversion is not needed This post has been edited by Dreamworks: Sep 13 2007, 11:35 PM |

How much will you be paying for it?
Added on September 14, 2007, 1:25 pm@kksoon Generally, the price hovers around the range of RM400 - RM425. It depends on where you are and the condition of the phone, KL prices will be somewhat lower This post has been edited by Dreamworks: Sep 14 2007, 01:25 PM |
